What You Do.
Responsible for providing administrative support to the President, VP – Sales, Director(s) of Sales, and Director FSI Marketing & Innovation as well as other duties as assigned. Examples of responsibilities include a broad range of work involving confidential information
Coordinates and schedules meetings, appointments, conference calls and travel accommodations.
Uses very strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, file sharing) to support the FSI Division with presentations, tracking, event calendars, etc. Additional training would occur on Sargento specific software such as SAP, CRM, and others as assigned.
Acts as Microsoft Teams and Box power user and resource to assist others with questions as well as coordinates FSI files and authorizations.
Types, prepares, edits and assembles spreadsheets/charts, presentations and reports. Attends meetings, prepares and distributes meeting minutes as required. Maintains records and files
Processes purchase orders, supply orders, completes expense reports and arranges travel needs.
Manages large workload while effectively prioritizing projects and requests based on timing and importance.
Assists in the organization and execution of key FSI events, including logistics of customer visits
Sets up and coordinates Microsoft Teams sessions and conference calls. Helps others to follow protocol guidelines and acts as key contact person for inquiries.
Oversees administrative procedures and processes for assigned area. Provides assistance and back-up to other administrative personnel as assigned. Works collaboratively with administrative support team.
Uses independent judgment in completing activities and operates under general supervision.
May act as an administrative liaison with internal and/or external sources as necessary.
Assists as needed and serves as back-up to Sales Coordinators for product sample requests and product costing requests through CRM system.
Your Education and Experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Administrative Professional Associate of Applied Science degree or comparable associate degree highly preferred
Five plus years of experience in an administrative assistant role in a professional office environment
Advanced proficiency with CRM or other technology platforms required
Experience in a sales or marketing environment preferred.
