Primary Purpose:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for directly engaging contractors, ESCOs, and end users to grow Orion's profitability by implementing our sales strategy. The position travels approximately 50% of the time, throughout an assigned region. The position will have the ability to work cross-functionally throughout the organization, as well as continuously interface with external partners and customers to promote the company and ensure appropriate sales objectives and goals are met

Job Highlights:
- Build an annual strategic market penetration plan, outlining clear objectives for growth targets
- Grow Orion revenue via mindshare and discretionary business within the region
- Directly engage agents, contractors, ESCOs, and end users through joint sales calls, training, meetings, webinars, conference calls, trade shows, etc.
- Motivate, train, and manage agents to achieve the region’s stated objectives, including:
- Implementation of selling initiatives
- Joint customer visits
- Coordination of agent replacements for underperformance
- Implement sales strategy and achieve sales goals for the region by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, planning efficient use of time in the region, and managing expenditures
Experience and Qualifications:
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent years of education and/or experience
- Strongly prefer experience in the Lighting Industry with working knowledge of the Lighting Sales Representative Network and Electrical Industry
- Expert client interfacing and customer-focused approach; ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Experienced ability to effectively manage time and prioritize workload, develop, and manage pipeline and forecasting
