What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at Sarvicus LLC?

Low voltage technician. Able to install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage cabling.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION DOES REQUIRE TRAVEL

  • Installing Cable (Cat5e, Cat 6) and cable supports while adhering to cabling standards.
  • Utilizing cable test procedures and equipment for a variety of cable types.
  • Assisting with installation of IP Cameras and Conference Room A/V systems.
  • Following all production, safety, and quality standards codes.
  • Performing cabling splicing and fiber splicing (fusion).
  • Pulling and routing cable in new construction and existing commercial environments.
  • Experience in using hand tools, hammer drills, and impact drivers.
  • Ability to work from ladders and elevated lifts, when necessary.
  • Communicate with customers to understand the scope, timeline, and deliverables.
  • Per Diem when traveling.

Certifications (Desired, but not required)

  • Manufacturer certifications (Panduit, Commscope, Belden, etc.)
  • OSHA
  • BICSI

Pay Range: $18 to $24 per hour (based on experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Low Voltage: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • TWIC Card (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Required)
