POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. The Sales Associate will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our clients, assisting with product selection, and contributing to the overall success of our boutique. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in menswear fashion, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering a personalized and memorable shopping experience.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing product recommendations and styling advice based on their preferences and needs.
• Develop a strong understanding of our product offerings, including fabrics, fits, and brand stories, to effectively communicate the value and features of each item to customers.
• Assist with merchandising and visual presentation standards to ensure the store maintains a clean, organized, and inviting environment that reflects our brand aesthetic.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system (Lightspeed), including cash, credit card, and mobile payments, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about current menswear trends, designer collections, and industry news to enhance product knowledge and provide relevant insights to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients through personalized follow-up, including thank-you notes and updates on new arrivals or promotions, to foster repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the boutique, including assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

While we recognize these characteristics as contributing to the success of our best Sales Associates, we value diverse backgrounds and are open to candidates with relevant experience who demonstrate a passion for fashion and strong leadership skills.

• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required. We welcome candidates with a strong customer service background and a genuine interest in menswear fashion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and build rapport in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Passion for menswear fashion and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
