Position Summary:
The Field Operations and Safety Specialist will work with a selection of the Branches to ensure that they are following the Satellite Shelters’ safety and operations policies and procedures. This position will also work with the Director to update and implement new programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize Kaizen Events
Assist with new branch setups
Travel to Branches to conduct safety and operations audits
Update the branch checklists and ensure compliance
Coordinate Operations meetings
Schedule monthly operations calls
Work on Special Projects such as recovery/disaster relief
Issue Factory Purchase Orders
Edit “How To” Videos
Work with purchasing programs (i.e. Home Depot Portal, Amazon, Blevins, Sherwin Williams, Milwaukee, PPG, ABC Supply, Enterprise/Holman)
Coordinate field vehicle program, including fuel cards and WEX
Update the tracking and reporting on service calls
Order and ship materials (ie signs and placards)
Support the Power Apps
Create and update the HVAC training schedule
Compile and organize monthly inspection data
Update and send the monthly Safety Dashboard
Manage the Safety Folders
Mange and track the Insurance Claims
Complete the Cap Ex reports
Create ad hoc operational reporting/analysis
Other Operational and safety duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.
Education and Experience Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in the Mobile Office, rental industry; or equivalent
Proven leadership and managerial skills.
Experience recruiting and developing employees.
Experience in a rental or leasing business with repeat customers desired.
Skill in conducting and documenting inquiries, investigations, audits, and reviews.
Technical Capacity
Shown ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks.
Thoroughness and detail oriented.

Physical/Mental Demands:
Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. This position requires the ability to perform duties using both typical office equipment such as computers, cell phones, and printers as well as the ability to communicate and perform tasks in a construction/workshop environment.
Required Travel: This position requires travel to some branch locations, up to 2 weeks a month.
