What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Coordinator position at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction?
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate employee records and data in HR systems such as UKG, Paylocity, Lawson, UltiPro, Ceridian, etc.
- Assist with employee orientation and onboarding processes related to benefits enrollment.
- Provide support to employees regarding benefit inquiries and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement benefit policies and procedures.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improving benefit programs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Benefits Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
- Proficiency in using HR systems such as UKG, Paylocity, Lawson, UltiPro, Ceridian, etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
