We are always seeking qualified, dedicated and responsible individuals to substitute in the many schools of our member districts.
As part of our ongoing effort to make sure the most qualified people are working with our children, we will be using the following criteria in the following order as we hire applicants:
Retired and/or certified teachers with valid or expired professional teaching certificates. Persons holding degrees.
Persons with a high school diploma or GED who have experience and/or training preparing them to work with children.
2.Please note that you must have a high school diploma or GED to become a substitute with SAU 29 for Grades PreK-8. To substitute in Grades 9-12 (Keene High School), you are required to have at least two years of work experience after obtaining a high school diploma or GED.
3.After completing and submitting your application, you will be contacted via e-mail by the Human Resources Department with further information on receiving the additional paperwork (such as fingerprinting, W-4, I-9, etc.) necessary to finalize your substitute application, if selected.
