The People Systems Manager leads the design, analysis and administration of the People Information Systems (“HRIS”) of record for the enterprise, currently Ceridian Dayforce. Takes ownership of maintaining effective and best practice system configuration, data integrity, continuity between key internal stakeholders, workflow management for approval of system changes and modifications, and manages all projects, releases and testing within the HRIS. Is the key contact with the HRIS vendor, and is responsible for maintaining a professional and highly effective relationship between the enterprise and the vendor, including active participation in conferences, user groups, and the customer portal. In collaboration with IT, manages all data integrations between the HRIS and internal reporting, and with all related vendors.
Provides exceptional customer service to IT, People Solutions, leadership, Team Members, and Customers when applicable. Acts as the Subject Matter Expert for the HRIS, including reporting, dashboards, systems testing, and providing formal and one-on-one training to end-users as needed.
What You Will Be Doing:
Prepares reporting, analytics and dashboards for leadership decision-making
Acts as the interface/SME for the HRIS
Supports the People team with data requests, systems support, and analytics
Routinely audits people data
Leads and drives system upgrades, including testing and educating/training stakeholders
Creates and writes reports upon request
Performs HR data maintenance audits to ensure data integrity
Closely manages and maintains HRIS security
Assesses organizational needs and current HRIS systems, and makes recommendations for improvements or new systems
Manages the creation of system documentation or training programs
Establishes procedures for updating, validating, and correcting Team Member records and other related HR data
Is the enterprise SME on all things HRIS, and provides training and systems support as needed or requested
Presents at Ceridian Insights when it makes sense
Actively participates in the HRIS customer portal and user groups
Maintains accurate data integrations between systems, and routinely monitors and tests integrations to make sure they are functioning as intended
Provides technical support to the People Development Administrator of the LMS, including effective data integration
Performs other job-related duties as requested or assigned
What You Need To Be Successful:
Six or more years of experience in HRIS administration
Prior experience working in a multi-state, mid to large size organization; international experience a plus; industry experience a plus
Strong analytical skills with experience developing and managing reporting and dashboards within an HRIS
Prior experience creating and managing data integrations and implementing software solutions
Ability to influence and persuade individuals at all levels in the organization without positional authority
A strong grasp of grammar and composition, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts into easily understandable terminology to support the end user
With the support of People Development and Internal Communications, must be able to use a template to create job aids and trainings, and compose system-related announcements and updates
Ability to keep highly confidential information confidential
An understanding of the legal concept of PII, and experience with appropriately managing and securing such data
Ability to maintain impeccable professionalism and decorum under tight deadlines and in high stress environments
Expert Excel skills, and a strong working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce and PayFactors preferred
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
Have or be able to obtain a TWIC
Having a driver’s license and passport are preferredHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
HRIS certification, such as an IHRIM or HR Analytics Certificate, preferred
