What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner/Busser position at Savona?
POSITION OVERVIEW The back server/food runner works with Savona restaurant management and servers to support and facilitate attentive, efficient service. The back server/food runner is responsible for nightly setup and resetting tables according to the seating plan, in addition to delivering food quickly and professionally to guests in line with proper standards of service. The position requires attention to detail, follow through and the ability to multitask and prioritize needs while maintaining composure, focus and productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting servers, host staff and management in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables according to seating plan
- Polishing silverware and glassware, keeping service areas and bar stocked at all times
-Running food from the restaurant kitchen to tables and bar
-Communicating with expo to maintain organization and meet immediate guest needs
REQUIRED SKILLS The back server/ food runner must:
-Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enforce SAVONA standards, policies and procedures
- Maintain a pleasant, polite manner as well as a neat and clean appearance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
