We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth. This is an exciting, commission-based opportunity for a highly-motivated individual who will be compensated for the work put in.

Qualifications:

  • Have experience in a sales role, especially in the area of business-to-business commercial contract sales
  • Excel in a commission-based compensation structure with high earning potential
  • Comfortable with being held accountable for revenue growth
  • Be tenacious, optimistic, proactive, confident, ambitious, and maintain a high work and ethical standards
  • Be motivated to make an impact and WIN
  • Sales or business development experience with commercial services industries (e.g., retail, large festivals and events, commercial property sales, interior design) or other business to business situations
  • Strong relationship building capabilities
  • Self-driven and self-disciplined
  • Must be able to travel within targeted territory
  • Have strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, qualifying and closing business.
  • Experience in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products or services

Responsibilities:

  • Take a structured approach to sales
  • Drive growth through new client acquisition
  • Develop, estimate, and close commercial contracts
  • Cold calling and networking to identify and build sales pipeline
  • Establish strong relationships with operations personnel to ensure customer needs are met
  • Develop regional contacts and professional network
  • Use and maintain a structured sales process and CRM reporting system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in sales or business development roles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office
