As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth. Qualifications:
- Have experience in a sales role, especially in the area of business-to-business commercial contract sales
- Excel in a commission-based compensation structure with high earning potential
- Comfortable with being held accountable for revenue growth
- Be tenacious, optimistic, proactive, confident, ambitious, and maintain a high work and ethical standards
- Be motivated to make an impact and WIN
- Sales or business development experience with commercial services industries (e.g., retail, large festivals and events, commercial property sales, interior design) or other business to business situations
- Strong relationship building capabilities
- Self-driven and self-disciplined
- Must be able to travel within targeted territory
- Have strong skills in prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, qualifying and closing business.
- Experience in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products or services
Responsibilities:
- Take a structured approach to sales
- Drive growth through new client acquisition
- Develop, estimate, and close commercial contracts
- Cold calling and networking to identify and build sales pipeline
- Establish strong relationships with operations personnel to ensure customer needs are met
- Develop regional contacts and professional network
- Use and maintain a structured sales process and CRM reporting system
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in sales or business development roles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office
