We are actively looking for a Valuation Manager to join our growing firm! This position will be 100% remote.
Position Overview:
Sax LLP is currently looking to expand our Valuation, Forensic, and Litigation team by bringing on an experienced and dynamic Valuation Manager to help guide our clients in their financial decisions. Ideally this candidate will have experience in some of our core VFL divisions, including business valuation, matrimonial cases, economic damage analysis, and forensic accounting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Spearheading the creation of valuation models and reports, including preparation and review
- Engage in online database research and the collection of supporting documents to support reports
- Perform financial analysis in relation to valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation arrangements
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 years business valuation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with coursework in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Experience preparing and reviewing valuations for financial reporting, tax, and litigation purposes
- Experience in the application of valuation methodologies for Privately-held companies and different equity securities of privately-held companies and quantification of discounts and premiums
- Experience working at a valuation firm or at an accounting firm in a valuation practice
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Expertise with on-line databases (DealStats, Capital IQ) and internet research of company specific, industry and economic analysis
- Valuation credentials, or pursuit of such credentials, a plus (ASA/AM, ABV, CVA, AVA, CFA)
