The role is responsible for participating in the design, development, testing, deployment and support of process and intelligent automation solutions for a wide range of business processes and process improvement opportunities. This role will offer the opportunity to utilize existing skillset and further learn and develop a working knowledge of the automation systems used by Simmons Bank. When necessary, this role interacts with business unit associates and analyzes the day-to-day operations in order to get a better feel for their business needs. Our automated solutions utilize several technologies with a primary focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Software Development using a leading-edge tool, UiPath. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides expertise and assistance on automation development and workflow design Uses analytical and problem-solving skills to design automations that are efficient and resilient to failure Oversees the solution deployment process and assist with change management and implementation of improvements and workflow solutions Reviews requirement specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Conducts automation execution support as required Analyzes data and application changes and documents the impact on the automation task (test cases, scripting, scenario execution, etc.) Ensures the appropriate automation tools/technologies are configured accordingly Facilitates communications among various committees/teams related to system implementation and support of automation projects Consults with technology partners and business leaders to determine the most effective solution to problems Maintains technical expertise in areas governing computer sciences and process automation Ensures that all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training Complies with bank policies as applicable to this position Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Skills Experience with the entire RPA project life cycle: Process Analysis, Business and Technical requirements, Design, Implementation, Problem-Solving, and System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes Ability to design, build, program, test and deploy RPA solutions using an Agile methodology Excellent software troubleshooting skills, and an understanding of programming constructs Understanding of relational database design principles and concepts, especially within the Microsoft environment Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Adaptable and progressive learner with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences Active listening with excellent and confident communications and interpersonal skills with an ability to read complex customer situations and adapt as needed Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-learning and follow through Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important Education and/or Experience Required BS/BA Degree (four year) from an accredited university/college AND At least 3 years of process or application development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through the following: work experience, training, military experience, education At least 1 year of experience with process automation development with any tool, UiPath preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required Other Preferred Qualifications General banking knowledge/experience Proven hands-on experience in analysis, design, development, and implementation of automated solutions Experience in developing applications using Java, .Net, Python, XML, SQL, API integration, and/or other Automation technologies Equal Employment Opportunity Information: Simmons First National Corporation and its subsidiaries are committed to a policy of equal employment with respect to a person's race, color, religion, sex, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, covered veterans, military status, physical or mental disability or any other legally protected classifications.
