We are looking for:
- Our Tool & Die position is integral to our continued success and part of our team providing strategic alignment with our customers and stake holders. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on creative craftsman seeking a permanent position in our dynamic field – Mold Building Experience Preferred
- Our team of skilled tool and die makers belong to a company dedicated to success and hard work. As a tool and die maker with us, you will get to use blueprints to determine project specifications, set up and operate machine tools, finish, and adjust parts, and test tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- You will also get to make use of your outstanding mechanical and mathematical skills while crafting molds, tools and dies.

Responsibilities include:
- Use sketches, blueprints, specifications, and models to plan operations for the fabrication of dies, tools and assemblies, ensuring safety and maximum efficiency
- Verify dimensions of finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers, and micrometers
- Utilize hand and machine tools to assemble parts of tools and dies and to repair and modify gauges, jigs, and dies
- Design templates and jigs to be used as work aids for convenient fabrication of products and parts
- Inspects completed tools and dies for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality
- Repairs dies, molds, and tools when needed; disassembles molds, jigs, tools, and fixtures, then reassembles when repaired
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools, inserts, cavities and core blocks that are part of the mold build
- Capable of utilizing CNC lathe, grinders, mold repair and inspections
- File and finish workpieces using the appropriate hand tools to ensure products are smooth and that they fit together properly
- Select the appropriate metals and materials to be used based on properties, ensuring they meet project specification
Must Haves:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience of mold making
Experience with plastic injection molding.
MUST have the ability to use tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and welding, etc.
Must have experience working on molds with tight tolerance parts.
Good communication skills.
CNC and/or design experience is a PLUS.
Experience in hot runner repair and maintenance is a PLUS
"High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Preferred candidate will have completed
Formal apprenticeship in mold making and/or some college-related coursework."
