JOB TITLE: REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF TRAINING AND EDUCATION
REPORTS TO: REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
CATEGORY: EXEMPT
SHIFT: Weekly Schedule: 8-hour shift; Monday - Friday
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The role of the Regional Director of Training and Education is to enhance quality, productivity and profitability in SC House
Calls by supporting staff through training, education, and process improvement.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Coordinate and conduct on-boarding and training of all new providers.
- Collaborate with providers regarding any documentation billing needs in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assist with Athena daily operation tasks such as building and applying schedules.
- Implement effective workflow processes.
- Assist in trouble shooting with any EHR and other software system concerns.
- Evaluate and train all providers to enhance productivity.
- Work with Regional Staffing Coordinator and Director of Clinical Services to identify training needs and conduct the education sessions.
- Participate in interviews and hiring for regional staff in conjunction with other SC House Calls leadership.
- Perform supervisory duties, in conjunction with other SC House Calls leadership, such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, hiring/termination, ordering supplies, training, etc. regarding personnel, equipment and supplies for MAs in his/her region.
- Communicate best practices, workflows, goals, operational processes, policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and the value of our program to the regional staff.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, recommends solutions, and coordinates/participates in the development and implementation of process improvement action plans to improve efficiencies and contribute to desired outcomes.
- Must be available during normal work hours (unless previously approved by direct supervisor). Additional hours may be required to complete normal business functions and/or projects.
- Utilize the company’s software systems to enhance patient care and productivity of regional staff.
- Participate in coaching calls.
- Perform other duties as requested or required, in the sole discretion of SC House Calls.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Must be able to lift, reach, bend, push, pull, use repetitive hand motions, walk and carry simultaneously.
- Must be able to withstand reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching; walking and standing for periods of time; lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Clinical experience as a certified medical assistant or higher preferred.
- Physician services and management skills experience preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skills.
- Should demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions and circumstances.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Team player with ability to manage multiple responsibilities and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel between offices, facilities, etc.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organizational requirements and is in good working order.
