We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Clerk. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible with the purchasing of parts, services and supplies, including computing costs and order entry.
Qualifications for a Purchasing Clerk Include:
- Detail oriented
- Mid-level Microsoft Excel experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively via email and phone
Prior purchasing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities of a Purchasing Clerk Include:
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the department
- Types reports, purchase orders, memos, and other administrative documents
- Researches vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other pertinent data related to goods and services
- Establishes and maintains recordkeeping system for purchasing department
- Other miscellaneous purchasing functions as needs arise
