The job
Design, develop and deliver sales training onboarding and standardized practices for all sales channels. Creation of sales tools and technology that is scalable as we continue to expand into new markets across all sales channels.
You will
Sales Training Responsibilities:
- Meet with Sales Managers and above to develop a standardized sale process.
- Establish a standardized sales approach varied by channel.
- Establish cohesive and unified messaging to be delivered by both Sales Training AND Sales Support Teams.
- Maintain ongoing communication with other key department stakeholders to understand changes impacting sales various lines of business and ensure cross-training.
- Develop / Oversee new hire curriculum for sales agents, support staff/sales operations to aid in scalable departmental growth.
- Create a cohesive onboarding experience for each job function and division within the Sales department. This includes both sales and operations.
- Work with Broker Channel to establish standardized training classes to keep the SCAN course catalog consistent.
- Engage brokers by creating and offering new trainings.
- Keep current on professional training techniques and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional training/development societies.
- Establish a course creation / content process for new trainings.
- Develop a training request intake form to track multiple projects and provide completion timelines.
- Be the Point of Contact for CMS guidance on Marketing and use of technology for all Sales Channels.
- Be the Point of Contact for Special Election Period use based on CMS / SCAN Compliance / Enrollment Department interpretation.
- Travel to nationwide SCAN markets as necessary to deliver training as needed or requested.
- Contribute to establishing our SCAN Brand in expansion markets as our company continues to grow by being a visible presence online and in person across our states and counties.
- Use current sales reports and historical data to establish conversion and sales quotas based on time of year and available enrollment periods.
- Develop and maintain Sales teams best practices, pitches, and objection handling.
- Create a Sales Library that internal agents can access and review on demand.
- Sales Coaching to include live call monitoring and ride along with agents to provide real time feedback.
Technology Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert and Point of Contact for 3rd party enrollment platforms including but not limited to SunFire, Connecture, agency proprietary platforms, etc.
- Owner and Point of Contact of Sales Department SharePoint information.
- Owner and Point of Contact of Sales Department Shelf information to provide the sales team on demand answers to process, guidelines and technical questions.
- Owner and Point of Contact of Sales Department Genesys Telecom training
- Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your qualifications
- Required: A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education listed above.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Insurance License (preferred but not necessary)
- 5 years Medicare Sales Training and Development Experience
- Medicare Sales Experience (preferred but not necessary)
- People Management
- Current Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
