Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, managing employee relations, and ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processing and HR administrative functions. Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
  • Handle low-level employee relations matters from start to finish.
  • Perform intake of employee relations issues, including complaints and concerns.
  • Conduct investigations into employee relations issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Assist employees, supervisors, and managers with remediation, coaching, and support.
  • Escalate high-level employee relations issues (e.g., Title XII, Sexual Harassment) to the HR Director.
Payroll Processing:
  • Responsible for processing weekly payroll using Paycom.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll transactions.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll.
HRIS and Administrative Changes:
  • Manage administrative changes and updates in the HRIS system (e.g., Paycom).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Generate reports and analytics as needed.
Culture Club and Safety Committee Support:
  • Act as a supportive member of the Culture Club and Safety Committee.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute culture-enhancing activities and safety initiatives.
  • Assist in organizing events, communication, and documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on employee relations and payroll processing.
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably Paycom.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
