This is a remote, work-from-home position, and all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply in the continental U.S., with the exception of candidates from Colorado, California, Washington, and New York.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for building strong relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Communicate with clients at a senior level to resolve issues and field inquiries.
- Identify and qualify opportunities for Secur-Serv services.
- Manage existing client relationships ensuring that we are maximizing revenue retention and growth opportunities.
- Prepare thorough and professional correspondence to customers.
- Initiate contact via telephone, written correspondence, and/or personal visits to begin the sales process for new opportunities.
- Follow up as required to move prospects through the sales process.
- Maintain accurate activity records in HubSpot on a timely basis.
- Forecast revenues for accounts and participate in related activities.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Work with all facets of the organization to help meet our defined corporate objectives which include: Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, etc.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Attend related industry trade shows and conferences, as necessary.
- Participate in sales training and sales meetings as necessary.
- Use good judgment and care to maintain company assets in your possession. These assets may include: vehicles, computers, price lists as well as other company provided resources.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum 5 years technology sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Ability to travel overnight 1-2 days per month
- Proven ability to build relationships
- Proven ability to demonstrate good judgment pertaining to expenses incurred
- Proven Critical thinking skills
- Current valid driver’s license
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Power BI
- Understanding of Managed IT Services
- Understanding of Cybersecurity
- Understanding of Managed Print Services
