POSITION SUMMARY:
Scantron is embarking on an exciting and aggressive path to transform our business and needs great leadership to drive growth and achieve strategic goals. The VP of Sales is critical in achieving our objectives and is a key executive leader in the Scantron Assessment organization. This role is responsible for contributing to and supporting the growth strategy, leading all direct revenue generation activities, and fostering outstanding, long-term relationships with customers.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES (include the following; other duties may be assigned):
Lead Sales for K-12 Digital business unit
Deliver or exceed revenue and margin targets
Build and foster executive level client relationships
Define and direct engagement programs for demand creation, lead generation, and ongoing relationship and business building
Capture continuous market feedback to ensure the development of effective proposals and contracts that enable the company to meet its revenue and EBITDA goals
Lead all Sales Operations activities and teams
- Ensure ongoing client satisfaction according to strategic goals
Oversee the development of a government relations plan and subsequently, activities
Support the development and launch of new solutions into our markets and drive the go-to-market activities
Manage positive variance budgets
Help establish and manage key metrics for the organizations in scope
Work closely with Marketing, Portfolio Management, IT, Assessment Development, Psychometrics to deliver on business goals and achieve the future vision for Scantron
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
10 years of Sales executive leadership – track record of meeting or beating revenue goals
10 years of developing and managing large, executive client relationships – K-12 Digital sector, highly desirable
Senior-level experience in driving and achieving goals from aggressive strategic plans
Multiple experiences of leading companies through major organizational transformations
Experience in leading Sales Operations functions
Financial acumen for understanding margin economics and managing budgets
Education and/or Assessment experience strongly preferred
Experience operating in a Private Equity environment strongly preferred
