Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair access control systems, including computer hardware and networking components.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with access control systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of access control systems.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers regarding access control system operations.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement effective access control solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in access control technology.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, networking principles, and low voltage systems.
- Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines for electrical installations.
- Experience in alarm system sales, locksmithing, or related fields is a plus.
- Possession of relevant certifications or training in access control systems is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using power tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
