SCEG is a specialty dental office in Westlake Village and Simi Valley, CA. We have 4 highly respected and amazing endodontists. The pace is fast, the staff is supportive and the work gives you the challenge you need.
Dental Receptionist - Dental Experience REQUIRED.
Work schedule: 10-hour days to maximize your workweek. Full-Time: 4 days per week
Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
Responsibilities: You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Greeting all patients with a warm and welcoming smile
Efficiently checking patients in
Answering moderate to heavy phone calls timely with a helpful, warm demeanor
Timely communication with the back office team and doctors
Methodical appointment scheduling with proficiency and patience
Knowledge of insurance verification and claims processing
Confirming insurance coverage and patient appointments
Presenting treatment plans and making financial arrangements with patients (after training period)
Submitting claims electronically to insurance companies for reimbursement
Conducting post-op calls to ensure patient satisfaction
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
Previous dental reception experience is REQUIRED
Neat, clean and professional appearance
Proficiency in the English language, including strong reading, writing and comprehension skills
Outstanding customer service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with a proactive work approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; efficient
