Description
Schattdecor is a global market-leader in décor surfaces for the woodworking industry, with headquarters in Germany. We print authentic woodgrains, stones, fantasy designs as well as solid colors on paper. Depending on the market, it follows a specific finishing process which is then used by our customers to manufacture furniture, flooring and RV applications.
We have an opportunity for a full-cycle (B2B) Account Executive professional for our Décor paper products. In this salaried position, the Account Executive will provide excellent customer service through maintaining and developing strong relationships, product knowledge, and collaborative support from design and sales department.
Essential Functions:
· Maintain and develop relationships with decision makers in the Industry to evaluate needs and then promote product sales;
· Manage full-cycle sales process;
· Work closely with Design and Sales colleagues to develop colors to meet your customer's requests;
· Develop a line of samples for sales presentation purposes;
· Collaborate with Design to develop colors that meet the needs of customer requests;
· Maintain all customer quote discussions with accurate product, pricing and delivery terms;
· Promote decorative designs and concepts for living environments;
· Consult with internal and external design professionals to stay abreast with market trends;
· Maintain customer inventory levels, order tracking and performance goals;
· Collaborate with other departments to support customer process;
· Other duties as assigned;
Requirements
· Minimum 2 years sales experience;
· Design and/or furniture sales experience preferred;
· BA/BS degree preferred;
· High School Diploma/GED
· Strong verbal and written communication skills;
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook;
· Basic knowledge of the woodworking industry and/or laminates;
Travel Requirements
· Overnight travel of approximately 30% to maintain and develop new sales; some travel may include up to a week;
· Ability to travel internationally.
