Mission
The Procurement Leader is responsible for the daily procurement activities in an Integration Center or Division Supply Chain organization. The Procurement Leader directs Procurement Specialists, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures, and in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute resource and procurement activity planning to support the center or Division in meeting its objectives.
- Execute and own the procurement plan for purchased items in accordance with assigned Product Line schedule.
- Participate in production plan reviews and demand formulation with Customer Service and Production teams.
- Enforce and monitor procurement procedures.
- Set action plans for improving actual lead time, cost , and on time delivery.
- Review and maintain open purchase orders (POs) until closed.
- Manage past-due POs.
- Maintain purchasing parameters for Buy items.
- Review and control non-BOM POs to ensure correct approvals and to track actual expenditure.
- Report PO statistics to the Center Supply Chain Manager.
- Identify factors that have an unfavorable impact, such as purchase price , or work order variances, and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders, Supply Chain leaders, and Manufacturing to identify new opportunities.
- Participate in financial and inventory reviews as appropriate.
- Review and resolve item systems record discrepancies, invoicing and supplier nonconformances.
- Ensure that the adherence to Schlumberger approved supplier agreements and contracts.
- Support Finance and Logistics functions in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies.
- Implement continuous improvement activities within the Supply Chain department.
- Deliver a top performing workforce.
- Implement actions to continuously reduce wasted time, money and resources.
- Comply with Schlumberger and local procedures applicable to the job function.
Education, Experience & Exposures:
- Education requirement Bachelors degree
- Minimum 5 years Supply Chain experience, or equivalent
- Motivated, and self-starter
- Candidates must be able to work and reside in the US, without sponsorship
