What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Data Collector position at Schneider Engineering LLC?
The Data Collector role will work on a minimum 3 up to 6 month contract basis with the option to come on full-time at the end of the contract period. No experience is required. All training necessary will be provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect data from electric poles spanning 400 miles
- accurately enter data into ERSI map collector software
- perform task in an efficient and detailed manner
Position Requirements:
- valid drivers license
- ability to walk across rough terrain in West Texas - Midland/Pecos
- conduct work in a professional and detailed manner
- ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- experience using current technology (smartphone, ipad, etc.)
Additional Experience preferred but not required:
- Utility/Coop Experience
- Understanding of basic electrical components
- ESRI Map
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
