We are currently looking to add a CAD Technician to our Construction Services team.
Essential Duties Include:
- The CAD Technician is the person primarily responsible for the development of work product drawings and exhibits for the Team. This is generally, but not always an office role. Under the direction of the Team Leader, the CAD Technician will gather and analyze available data relative to real estate including right of way research, maps, prior surveys, GIS information, other public records, and information provided by client, to assemble the information into necessary work product document(s).
- Verification that work product matches the plan design.
- Communicate status and scheduling with Team Lead and other team members.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- High school diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience; 5 preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of the graphics utilization of CAD software, with the ability to work in most of the design aspects of the software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.), AutoCAD Civil 3D, use of GIS platforms, and Internet search engines.
- Good written and oral communication skills required.
