What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at School Employees Retirement System of Ohio?
The School Employees Retirement System of Ohio (SERS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician. We are looking for a person who is responsible, has attention to detail, and enjoys problem solving using functional and technical expertise.
The desired candidate will have experience in day-to-day maintenance, mechanical support, janitorial, and grounds maintenance in a commercial class ‘A’ facility.
Required Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Three to five years related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Direct Digital Controls (DDC) or Building Automation Systems (BAS) preferred.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) preferred.
- High Rise Fire Safety Certification preferred.
- Universal EPA License preferred.
The incumbent is required to:
- Carry cell phone to respond to daily business needs.
- Drive SERS vehicles for the purpose of purchasing equipment and supplies.
