Dining Room Manager

The Dining Room Manager will work directly with the Managing Partners and Chefs to ensure that the dining room, tavern, and patio is executed to the requisite standards and that the restaurant’s dining areas operate in accordance with their established budgetary goals.

Suitable candidates must have excellent leadership skills to build strong teams as well as a well-developed business acumen and a hospitable nature.

It is paramount that all candidates contribute to increase revenue by cultivating and maintaining guest relationships; achieved through frequent table visits, providing personalized service, and by quickly resolving any and all guest concerns during or after dining

Applicants must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a highly organized and efficient manner.

• Salary based on 50 hours per work week
• Must be available to close the restaurant 5 days a week
• Minimum of 2 years management experience in a high volume, full service, fine dining restaurant.
• Must have excellent knowledge of a wide range of cuisines, wine, beer and spirits.
• Impeccable service standards, clean work habits and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
• Professional, polished appearance with the ability to interact with all team members and department heads.
• Proven ability to lead a staff and positively influence employee behavior.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills and have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Computer knowledge including Word and Excel.
