As SchoolMint’s Digital Marketing Designer, you will be supporting marketing strategy at a fast-moving and growing but established EdTech company. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented digital marketing designer interested in providing visual solutions for the entire company brand and supporting products. We are looking for someone interested in creative brainstorming, conceptual design, visual communication, information visualization, prototypes, and more.
The right person would be outgoing and have a naturally inquisitive nature; you should be able to handle multiple tasks at once from different sources of accountability and meet milestones or deadlines with minimal supervision. This means work efficiently through tasks, operate without hand-holding, all at a high standard of quality work product.
We are looking for candidates who:
Can communicate the thought process behind a proposed design
Can translate marketing communication strategies into clear and compelling graphic design and brand
Has a sophisticated understanding of color, imagery, typography as well as negative space.
Stays up to date on style trends, current design and technology
Self-starter, able to work independently
Has excellent written and oral communication skills
Works with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
(experienced with tools and platforms such as: Facebook, Marketo, Word Press and Google Drive)
Responsibilities may include the following:
Design for email
Working with management to design graphics/prototypes and presentation assets that communicate SchoolMint’s offerings
Collateral design for short form, long form, infographics, advertisement and social media
Manage and evolve brand guidelines
Keen eye looking for errors, misspellings, etc. before sending files to be printed or taken live on the web
Ability to handle multiple projects, while embodying the work ethic and personality that thrives in a fast-paced organization
Meet tight deadlines
Adjust to shifting priorities
Professional experience working on graphic or visual design (ideally 2-5 years experience)
BA in Graphic Design, visual communication or related field
Experience with print, digital marketing and video production
Web experience with HTML, CSS, and Wordpress required
Advanced working knowledge of Mac, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Google Suite
