Purpose: The Alumni and Annual Gift Officer works in conjunction with the Chief Advancement Officer(CAO), President and Associate Directors to implement dynamic and successful alumni relations and annual giving programs in support of Convent & Stuart Hall’s mission and fundraising goals. This role is charged with motivating alumni to be engaged and involved, as well as successfully facilitating annual giving programs. In addition, they work in collaboration with the Advancement Team on all Advancement goals and priorities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Prefer a minimum of six years of professional experience in development/advancement or a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experienced working as part of a team and managing and motivating volunteers.
Exhibit professional standards of performance, collegial demeanor, and the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality.
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requires ability to work independently and interdependently.
Familiar with database applications, preferably Raiser’s Edge, data analytics, as well as adaptability in learning new technological applications.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Donor records are highly confidential; this position requires the highest level of ethical standards.
