What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Morning Weekend Van/Shuttle Driver 7am-3pm position at Schulte Hospitality Group?
PART TIME, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS 7am-3pm
Every Weekend - 16 hours
Must have VALID DRIVERS LICENSE and a good driving record. You will be required to pass a drug screening, background check and we will check your motor vehicle driving record.
- Works every Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm
- Greets guests in a warm and authentic manner
- Assists guests with luggage to/from their room, into the shuttle van and at the Airport
- Drives guests to and from any location within 5 mile radius in our company Van. Restaurants, Airport, Shopping, etc.
- Keep Van clean and filled with Gas
- Reports any maintenance issues to Management to ensure the van is safe at all times
- Does not TEXT and Drive
- Follows all Traffic Laws
- Patrols the property inside and out for any suspicious activity several times throughout your shift
- Keeps van parked around entrance to deter any potential vandalisms
IN BETWEEN SHUTTLE RIDES, PERFORMS HOUSEMAN DUTIES TO KEEP HOTEL FRESH AND CLEAN: - Retrieves needed guest room supplies for Front Desk Associates
- Pick up trash in outside parking lot
- Pick up trash on each floor of hotel - bring it to the dumpster
- Does a Property walk through the hotel to ensure doors are locked, hotel is secure. No suspicious activity.
- Help clean up/set up Meeting space as needed
- Clean Fitness center. Restock towels in fitness center
- Delivers items to guest rooms upon request
