Position Description
Schumacher Automotive Group is seeking a new Sales Director responsible for all automotive brands under the Delray Beach dealership location!

Delray’s Sales Director will be responsible for ensuring profitability of the Automotive Dealership by planning, motivating, and coordinating the dealership’s management through leadership and solid business practices.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Analyzes sales history to formulate new policies designed to promote sales.
- Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the dealership.
- Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments.
- Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Creates dealership sales forecasts by estimating total vehicle sales, gross and PVR.
- Maintains a gross profit average monthly to ensure the dealership increases profitability and minimizes expenses.
- Plans and develops short and long-term goals and objectives annually.
- Manages inventory and pricing to maximize revenue of all advertising products.
- Manages account lists and sales channels to maximize sales resources against market potential.
- Facilitates positive and productive relationships with other departments.
- Budgets and forecasts revenue goals by source.
- Recruits, selects, develops, and manages performance of staff in ways that will maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
- Manages direct reports performance to budget and other performance standards including sustainability of sales methods monthly.
- Recommends compensation for entire sales team based on Company standards.
- Ensures that sales tools and resources are properly aligned with client potential.
- Obtains, tracks, and reviews metrics to identify sales opportunities and create sales strategy.
- Displays excellent intuitive judgement
- Gathers competitive knowledge and develops ways to effectively sell against competitors.

- 5 years minimum managing managers within the automobile industry.
- 5 years minimum dealership sales leadership experience.
- Ability to work with others in a complex matrix structure.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to understand profit and loss statements.
- Ability to manage large, diverse staff.
- Ability to work a (6) day work week.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Computer and internet savvy.
- Proactive in nature.
- Honest and highly intuitive.
- Ability to plan and organize daily selling activities.
- Ability to secure new business with daily follow up.
- Experience in working with CRM's and follow up.
- Experience providing quality customer service.
- Strong team leader and team player.
- Strong negotiation skills.

Requirements
- 5 years minimum managing managers within the automobile industry is required.
- 5 years minimum dealership sales leadership experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft software is required.
