We are searching for a Livestock Farm Coordinator who will be responsible to establish consistent processes within the department to maximize efficiency, manage staff effectiveness and productivity, and exemplary customer service, while maintaining quality of animal care and health.
You will need to be passionate about regenerative agriculture and livestock practices, maximizing efficient labor, as well as exploring new avenues and monitoring industry trends for increasing or enhancing business in the department. A passion for farm work, animal care, and building relationships with customers, employees and peers is important in this role. This is a customer facing role.

KEY Responsibilities:
- Care of Livestock - Manage livestock diet and feeding methods for a variety of non-registered and registered animals including alpacas, sheep, goats, hogs, poultry, rabbits, cows and more. Monitor animal health and welfare and procure appropriate veterinarian care as needed.
- Maintenance of Livestock Area – Using a system of regenerative agriculture, perform maintenance and upkeep of the livestock area, maintaining cleanliness for disease control and soil/pasture health. Follow pastured animal and rotational grazing systems, maintaining pasture quality and fertility
- Processing and Packaging – Implement a small-scale processing facility working with government guidelines to process small animals for use in restaurant and market on site. Assure a quality and economically viable finished product while considering animal welfare and environmental impact.
- Education and Information Delivery – Provide information to customers regarding the livestock operation during tours, field trips or farm fests as well as planning class outlines and other educational opportunities while working with the events and farms team.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to learn and grow into the farm manager position
- Experience on farm, including ability to drive a tractor
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of experience working with animals
- Tractor driving and general maintenance
