Science Explorers is seeking energetic, positive people to be part-time assistant instructors for our after-school science clubs. This is a wonderful opportunity for any person who enjoys working with children. We pay $20-25 per weekly club session (this includes prep time and clean up time) depending on the number of children in each club topic. Our club program is developed for elementary-aged children with a focus towards hands-on STEM learning and fun.
You don’t have to be an expert in the field of science to teach our clubs! The curriculum, supplies and training are provided. Previous experience teaching or working with children preferred.
This club takes place in Adamstown on Wednesdays from 3:10-4:10 p.m. You will need to arrive early for prepping, and there is also some cleanup time after the club is over. All new Assistant Instructors will be required to complete online training before their start date.
- This is a part-time position**

- Some teaching/instructing/tutoring experience is desired**
- Typically, our program runs from January until early June**
- Up-to-date clearances are required**
