What are the responsibilities and job description for the STEM Instructor position at Science Explorers?
The SPARKS Foundation is a non-profit organization and is expanding as we continue to inspire young minds through science all over PA and around the country.
We are seeking: FUN, energetic instructors for our hands-on STEM programs at elementary schools in PA. You don’t have to be an expert in the field of science to teach our clubs! The curriculum, supplies and training are provided. Previous experience teaching or working with children preferred.
We have teams of two that provide elementary schools with award winning STEM experiments (NEWSWEEK, BEST OF STEM 2021) that introduce and reinforce science concepts and objectives. As we are organizing several traveling teams, there is some flexibility on scheduling and does not need to be a 5 day a week commitment during the school year. Programming is during the school day, in the classroom.
Check out www.sparksfoundation.org and you will see what we do and why we do it. Our educational partners require proof of COVID vaccination and up to date clearances. We provide everything you need to create a classroom of lifetime learners! Plus, you get to pick a cool science name. Compensation will be discussed during the hiring process.
If you seek to make a difference in this world of STEM, please submit your cover letter and resume with this posting.
