As a Sciex Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the North American Field Sales Organization by providing quotations and processing orders for consumables and instruments for internal and external customers. Detailed review of all instruments driven purchase orders and compliance with quotation terms and company processes based upon legal and finance policies. Maintain documentation and customer communication per the ISO 13485 and 9001 guidelines. Frequent collaboration with but not limited to: Field Sales, Field Service, Marketing, Tech Support, Finance, Product Management, Logistics/Distribution, Planning/Procurement and Vendors.
This position is part of the Customer Service Organization, reporting directly to the Sales Administration Manager. This hybrid role is located in Redwood City, CA.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Review, prepare, process, reconcile, track quotations, proposals, e-commerce orders, purchase orders, and contract accuracy and compliance for instrument products.
- Identify process and/or business gaps to streamline workflows as it relates to the immediate sales administration team and/or overall CS organization.
- Proactively manage, follow up, and maintain all open orders.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Requires the knowledge and skills generally acquired through completing an Associate Arts (A.A) degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of customer service, order management, sales administration, or/ related experience.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule-one day in the office, 4 days remote.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Oracle 11i a plus, and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, customer contracts, quotes, purchase orders, and procedure manuals.
- Revenue Recognition policies and standards.

The hourly range for this role is $30.25-37.00. This is the range that we, in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
