The construction coordinator is responsible as a working supervisor for supervising the operational personnel of construction and renovation projects to include hospital maintenance staff and contractors. The construction supervisor works closely with the Facilities Services Department Project Engineer.
Minimum Education
X High School Diploma or equivalent
X Successful completion of two year trade school certificate program in maintenance, or one or more of the skilled trades. X Preferred

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Must have and maintain current valid driver’s license.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum ten (10) years working experience in all facets of maintenance in a hospital or equivalent setting to include bed repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, finishing, locksmithing, fire protection equipment, and power plant operations. Work may be substituted for the trade school certificate.
Salary : $47,200 - $59,800
