Director, Derivative Product Group
Purpose
A Director in Derivative Products Group is located with the Fixed Income Department of GBM. Within Fixed Income, Derivative Products Group is part of Origination Group, which is a Private Side Group. A DPG Director is a Client Coverage Officer responsible for marketing, structuring, and executing various fixed income and currency derivative products to the Bank’s lending Corporate Clients in the United States. In addition to coverage, the Director is responsible for getting in place ISDA’s, Derivataive Lines and Derivative Regulatory Items for any Corporate Client. The Director is responsible for modeling, structuring, quoting and managing Trade executions. The Director must be able to analyze markets and the Client’s current corporate structure to come up with a strategy that is optimal from a corporate finance and market perspective. The Director must be familiar with different structuring and pricing systems and have strong financial and analytical skills, understand the bank’s policies and procedures well and have a thorough knowledge of currency and fixed income derivatives. The Director should have the ability to understand and work comfortable in an area where technology, pricing methodology, regulations and product applications change constantly. The Director must have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with the Bank’s Corporate Clients and various internal groups (GRM, GBM Risk, Trading, XVA etc.)
