The Law Offices of Sean W. Scott, Esq., WLAW, PA is seeking a full-time legal assistant or paralegal. Candidate will be primarily responsible for processing summary and formal probate administrations.
Prior probate experience helpful, but not necessary for a candidate with ability to learn the probate process.

Team-work and interpersonal skills are very important. Customer relations skills critical. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM. Compensation commensurate with skills and experience.
Essential Functions of the Position:
· Responsible for initial client interface via phone, video conference, or in office
· Data gathering regarding client, creditors, and beneficiaries
· Preparation and filing of probate pleadings
· Monitoring of deadlines
· Closing out creditor claims
· Preparing and filing closing documents
Additional Responsibilities:
· Preparation of simple estate planning documents
· Preparation of simple incapacity planning documents including powers of attorney and health surrogates.
· Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Physical and Mental Demands:
· High level verbal and written communication skills
· Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods
· Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
· Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications:
· Associate’s or Batchelor’s preferred
· Strong customer service orientation
· Attention to detail
· Excellent telephone etiquette
· Strong team player - positive, helpful, empathetic, compassionate disposition
· Ability to multitask
· Basic computer proficiency including familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
