Risk and Compliance Lead

Scoutbee is looking for Risk and Compliance lead to join our Information Security team at one of our offices in Berlin, or Würzburg

As a Risk and Compliance Lead , you will be managing assets, risks and security controls across the organization to mature our overall security posture. You will be the go-to person in all security related topics, developing this area while working very closely with different teams and the management team. 

Your role in our beehive 

• You oversee all governance and compliance efforts (to our own standards and those of ISO, TISAX, etc.) and take the responsibility for our internal and third party risk management programme while managing and maintaining our ISMS
• Creating and maturing the overall framework for our compliance requirements, that includes information security policies, standards, and guidelines. 
• You conduct risk analysis together with the respective teams and maintain a risk register keeping track of threats, weaknesses, risk treatment plans and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Establish meaningful monitoring KPIs & metrics, you address non-conformities and work towards maturing our security culture. 
• Support different business departments with security questions and align with our product & tech department regarding feasibility assessment and delivery of technical security measures.
• Lead projects for audits and implementation of new security technologies and development of our ISO27001 & TISAX certification.
• Develop decision papers as well as reporting documents for the management.

What you bring to our beehive 

• 5 years of experience in a similar role within Information Security. 
• Proven experience building, managing and maturing an Information Security Management System and guiding our organization through certifications and recertifications.
• You are passionate about security relevant topics and have in-depth knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
• Passionate about achieving your goals with a detail oriented mindset and solution oriented approach while seeing the big picture - for you and the teams
• You are a team player, who drives the company's success and who is able to collaborate, connect and Influence 
• Be able to coordinate and report on actions arising from Corporate IT and DevSecOps monitoring reviews or other compliance actions that may arise from time to time to ensure these are closed in a timely manner and in accordance with agreed timescales
• As you will collaborate with different stakeholders, excellent presentation and communication skills in English are essential.
• Drive the information security agenda and act as the interface between business and IT, ensuring colleagues see the value and importance of this topic for the organization
