Scramble Play Group is looking for an Office Manager to join our team. As an office manager, you must be friendly, outgoing, and ready to communicate effectively about the wonderful and unique opportunities Scramble provides children and their families for clean, safe fun. Responsibilities
- Prepare & execute bill pay for all locations of Scramble business
- Field telephone calls and answer emails on behalf of senior staff
- Support Director of Business Operations including phone & hire screening, to organizing office scheduling and calendar updates to taking meeting and planning minutes.
- Order, organize and manage inventory supplies at locations.
- Communicate with guests to maintain Scramble brand and positive image of the business.
- Maintain an organized filing system in office and digital files.
- Place orders for office equipment or business needs
- Maintain and care for overall office appearance, implement office policies and upgrades and needed.
- Create and maintain reports as needed
Qualifications
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to build relationships with guests, the public, and other team members
- Proactive, demonstrating the ability to identify, address, and resolve problems as well as suggest improvements
- Organized, responsible and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Available and willing to work one weekend per month as needed to understand Scramble business.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to organize and create orderly systems
- Experienced in computer technology that includes Microsoft office suites, google docs, powerpoint, and social media marketing.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
Education/Experience
Any combination of education and experience providing the knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Minimum employment standards are:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous guest service or event coordination experience is necessary
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Basic record keeping and computer skills and comfortable working with Excel and Microsoft Word software
