Join our Radiology Department at Scripps Memorial La Jolla where we use the latest diagnostic imaging technology. Scripps Imaging is recognized for having advanced equipment and tools available to deliver quality patient care. We have leading-edge practice environments and seek equipment that offers better ergonomics, reduced exposure rates and timesaving tools to help our imaging professionals do what they do best to offer exceptional care.
The CT Tech is responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
General CT Tech duties include:
- Adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participating in QC and PI activities.
- Maintaining own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
This is a Full-Time position (60 hours per pay period),10-hour varied night shift with call requirements and is located at Scripps Memorial La Jolla.
New Hire Incentive available up to $4,000 for those who qualify.
The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
* Internal candidates
* Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
* Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
* Must remain in original department/specialty
* Must remain in original Job Title
* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications:
- BLS from the American Heart Association.
- CRT
- Venipuncture class completion. The certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology
- CT Scanning/Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of patient-focused care delivery.
- Certified in CT by ARRT
