Join Scripps Health as RN Clinic – Derm/MOHS Surgery where you will be working in a care team including medical assistants to optimize surgical office flow and duties. Assist Dermatologist and fellow Dermatologists with Mohs, Excisions, PERMs, and biopsies. Assist in reconstructive repairs. Perform suture removals, wound care, provide pre and post operative care instruction to patients of all ages, triage and telemedicine assistance.
You will ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
This is a full time 8 hour Mon – Fri position located in Torrey Pines.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- One year RN experience
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
Required Certification/Registration:
- CA RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Previous RN experience in Derm
- BSN
