POSITION TITLE: Glasswasher
POSITION SUMMARY:
Washes, sterilizes and disinfects laboratory glassware. Retrieves and/or delivers glassware from/to the appropriate laboratories. Maintains glass washing equipment and facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
With or without reasonable accommodation, employees in this position must be able to lift and handle equipment or materials up to 20 pounds; as well as perform repetitive motions with arms, wrists and hands. This position may also include utilizing disposable gloves and working in an environment that contains biohazardous compounds and chemical agent residue. Further details of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.
- Picks up glassware from laboratories and delivers to central glasswashing facility.
- Performs glass washing duties according to defined procedures.
- Delivers clean glassware back to respective laboratories.
- Orders supplies as needed.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Strictly adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- No experience required.
- Prefer glass-washing experience.
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
