SDi has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer III to join our Corona, California team. As a Systems Engineer III, you will contribute to the critical mission of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division in Norco, California. With nearly 50 years of experience as the Navy's premiere independent assessment agent, NSWC Corona Division plays a vital role in evaluating the warfighting capability of Navy ships and aircraft. Your expertise as a Systems Engineer will be instrumental in assessing weapons and integrated combat systems' performance, readiness, quality, and supportability throughout their life cycle. By providing comprehensive support and technical guidance, you will directly contribute to the success of the Navy and Marine Corps' warfighter capabilities.

Responsibilities
The Systems Engineer III will be responsible for:

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to assess the performance, readiness, quality, and supportability of weapons and integrated combat systems throughout their life cycle.

Conducting in-depth analysis and evaluation of system performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for optimization.

Participating in system design, development, and integration activities, ensuring adherence to standards, specifications, and best practices.

Developing and executing test plans, procedures, and methodologies to validate system performance and functionality.

Conducting system-level testing, analyzing test results, and documenting findings to support performance assessments.

Providing technical guidance and expertise to support decision-making processes, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Collaborating with stakeholders to define system requirements, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Contributing to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test reports.
