Position Purpose: Primary responsibility is managing the collection process for all SDMyers customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for managing the collections process, managing the aging of our A/R to within acceptable limits (i.e. < 10% over 60 days past due)
- Calling and developing relationships with our customers in the managing of our receivables.
- Process customer credit card payments and post customer receipts.
- Invoicing through Sage.
- Entering invoices on customer websites.
- Others duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in 10-key/typing skills, and strong familiarity with computers
- Bookkeeping coursework and knowledge a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Sage and/or Adobe
- Strong sense of commitment regarding deadlines and follow through
- Must possess and display a high level of integrity
- Must have strong organizational skills
Work Conditions:
Work is typically performed in a cubicle workstation location inside a production facility with occasional exposure to non-toxic chemicals/odors and noise levels.
Physical Demands:
While working, the ability to:
- Perform work at workstation for extended periods of time, typically at least 8 hours a day, sometimes more or less if business needs require.
- Occasionally lift objects up to 25 lbs.; and
- Regularly hear, see, talk, stand, walk and bend throughout the day.
