This is a mid-level sales position supporting Senior Sales Associates and upper management as well as providing customer sales and product knowledge support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote customer and prospect relationships through various means of communication.
- Support customer service as needed.
- May involve local or national travel for sales and trade show support.
- Help interface customers’ needs and forecasts to purchasing.
- Be aware of who our competitors are in the market and provide feedback to management
- Support Senior Sales position with field representative training, communication, quote creation and participate in the development and rollout of programs and promotions.
Qualifications and skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Above average writing and math skills
- Above average individual and group communication skills
- Above average understanding of mechanical workings and 12V electrical devices
Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree or BA in business with a focus in sales or marketing, or
- Same education level in a technical field with additional studies in sales or marketing
- 2 years in the Marine Industry or similar technical type industry; RV, Industrial, Commercial or Plastics
- Boating experience
