We have an exciting Director of National Accounts opportunity for our corporate office REMOTELY. The Director of National Accounts is responsible for managing strategic customer accounts at a national level, maximizing all opportunities for sales within the accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all aspects of account management and business development processes.
• Identify and contact potential customers for new business opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with existing customers for repeat business.
• Develop sales plan and strategy to increase business opportunities.
• Maintain integrity and quality in all business-related operations and activities.
• Respond personally to the customer's queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and deliver business presentations to customers.
• Develop business proposals and contracts for management and customers.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: The details listed below are the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities to perform this role. Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job.

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 Years of experience in Meat and/or processed protein sales and managing national accounts or regional chain accounts.
• Proven ability to develop and execute a strategic plan and implement company sales objectives.
• Excellent verbal, written, comprehension and presentation communication skills. Ability to speak effectively with customers. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret price lists, availability reports, and procedural manuals. Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Professional telephone and electronic communication skills.
• Highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Assertive personality with ethics and integrity
• 40% Travel required
