This position reports to: Director of Technology
The Mission: Seacoast Technology exists to create efficient systems and proactively identify solutions, through innovation and collaboration, to empower staff to meet Seacoast ministry goals. This role falls under the AVL Systems Team (a subset of the Technology Team). This is a customer focused team that designs, installs, maintains, and provides helpdesk support for AVL Systems across all Seacoast campuses and ministries. The AVL Systems Manager is our hands-on expert who ensures all technical equipment is installed and working properly during all Seacoast services and events across all campuses. Helps to support the overall mission of Seacoast to help others Find God, Grow Their Faith, Discover their Purpose and Make a Difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, spec and oversee the deployment of all AVLA Systems across all campuses, including but not limited to the following:
- Audio consoles (DiGiCo Q338 and Q225, Allen & Heath Avantis and SQ series), speakers, amplifiers, wireless mics and IEMs, video switchers, routers, cameras, lighting fixtures, lighting consoles and software, projectors and TVs, LED walls, environmental control systems, meeting room/conference systems, acoustic panels, AVL network switches, and all related Software including but not limited to ProPresenter, Ableton, Klang, WAVES SoundGrid, Dante, Wireless Workbench, DashBoard, ATEM, Onyx, grandMA and Q-SYS
- Own reliability, maintenance and performance of all systems mentioned above
- Ensure that all campuses and ministries have the AVL systems they need to do their job
- Assist ministries and staff with helpdesk/ticket needs in a prompt and accurate manner
- Provide Tier 2 support for AVL requests from staff, contractors and volunteers
- Troubleshoot and respond in a timely manner to technical systems problems. Identify more efficient solutions
- Support all staff, whether remote or onsite
- Maintain staff and public knowledgebase, including new additions based on frequently asked questions
- Maintain strong relationships with church leadership, campus staff, and ministries to determine and anticipate AVL needs, offer solutions, and ensure adoption
- Develop, communicate, and oversee all AVL Systems projects and update progress with the Leadership Team
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors to maintain equipment and services as needed and defined by service level agreements
- Manage the AVL Systems Teams operational and capital budget

- Regular travel to campuses as needed
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation within the Technology Team
- Serve in events that occasionally take place outside typical business hours, including nights, weekends, or some holidays
- Partner with and work closely alongside the Central IT Systems Team (a subset of the Technology Team), as well as the Mount Pleasant Production Team
Job Essentials:
- Christ Follower (As a religious organization, Seacoast Church makes hiring decisions aligned to our faith and beliefs)
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a church or production environment working with Audio, Video, Lighting and Acoustics
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt where needed
- Champion of time management: managing multiple tasks, prioritizing responsibilities, and providing information in a timely and effective manner
- Flexible schedule may be needed at times that include weekends and some holidays
- Travel required, including local day trips and a few overnight trips throughout the year
- Demonstrated spiritual gift to lead & serve others in a team environment
