Position Summary
The Compliance Analyst will support Seattle Bank, CD Valet, and FinTech partners by providing oversight of regulatory compliance via monthly monitoring.
The Compliance Analyst will perform monthly regulatory compliance monitoring according to the annual compliance monitoring schedule. The testing will include Bank compliance to the regulatory requirements and Bank policy and procedures. After testing, the Compliance Analyst will work with the applicable department on findings and create a report for Executive Management and the Audit Committee. In addition to regulatory compliance monitoring, this position is responsible for the annual compliance training schedule, training assignments, and training monitoring.
The Compliance Analyst will monitor and verify Seattle Bank change management via reports and provide weekly summaries to the Internal Audit manager. Further, the Compliance Analyst will track, scrub, and upload all HMDA reportable loans on a monthly basis and create the annual HMDA LAR with assistance from the Compliance Officer.
This position will also assist the Compliance Officers in regulatory research on an as-needed basis and may help with complaint management and marketing reviews.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for creating the annual compliance regulatory monitoring schedule
- Perform monthly regulatory monitoring testing, data analysis, and report creation as per the annual compliance regulatory monitoring schedule
- Perform data analysis on regulatory testing results
- Perform monthly HMDA scrubs and upload HMDA data to NTransmittal
- Responsible for annual training schedule, training assignments, and training monitoring
- Perform daily and weekly change management monitoring and verification
- Able to understand and apply all regulatory and compliance regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a regulatory compliance role
- Knowledge and understanding of financial regulatory requirements with a strong technical background
- Finance background preferred
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, affected departments
- Excellent analytic skills
- Required to handle multiple tasks at the same time
- Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure timely and effective communication
- Strong research skills involving customer and transactions using core system, BSA software, social media, and internet
- Prior experience with personal computers and Windows based software and excel spreadsheets.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
