Essential Functions for Project Manager
- Work with customers to design their coffee installation programs, especially as it relates to rollout schedule and implementation of new machines.
- Provide frequent and regular communication with customers regarding schedule changes (if any), the overall status of the project, any scope changes as requested by the customer, etc.
- Create and develop KPIs and reporting to assist customers with transparency and metrics.
- Consistently and regularly projects view projects to engage in process improvement impacting the following: profitability, timeliness, employee engagement, and/or customer satisfaction.
- Completes projects within scope and budget.
The Project Manager position is working from home during the pandemic. You must be located in Southern California. Company mandate requires current COVID-19 vaccination, candidates must report their vaccine status as a condition of employment.
Experience and Education for Project Manager
- 2-3 years of project management experience that involved multiple locations or 3-5 years of project coordination with multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or other Project Management tools (SmartSheet, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- Preferred: PMP certification or in the process.
Required Skills for Project Manager
- Strong project management skills to keep a multi-site project running consistently.
- Strong time management and decision-making skills.
- Strong forecasting and organization skills to build and develop a project schedule including major milestones.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills. Must be able to interface on a professional level with customers during conference calls and email communication. Must also be able to communicate with key internal stakeholders cross-functionally.
- Ability to suggest and implement process improvement to projects to capitalize on learnings.
Working conditions and Physical Requirements for Project Manager
- Frequently required to use hands, fingers, feel and reach with hands and arms.
- Extensive work on a computer and phone. Walking, sitting, and driving are key components of the job as well.
- Sitting or standing at a desk while using the phone and computer.
